Fallam's Secret by Denise Giardina was my fluff book this week. I so much loved Giardina's Storming Heaven and The Unquiet Earth and was pleased to see that she had another novel. While not as good as the earlier two, it was fun. She incorporates West Virginia current events (mountaintop removal) with time travel to Cromwell's England. It was lightweight, somewhat predictable, and okay, the sex was a little heavy-handed. But if you're looking for an escape, if you enjoyed Diana Gabaldan's Outlander series (Ed, consider yourself warned!) you might enjoy it.

Book Reviews (Part 3)
