Dana Perrino is a nasty piece of work.

This response from the White House to the bill that would extend unemployment benefits across the country is about as callous as anything I've seen. She makes it sound like people who are unemployed are sitting on their asses, eating bonbons, and watching daytime television.

Believe me, Mr. Ether would like to have regular employment.

How do these people sleep at night?

Yeah, him. The mean little man currently occupying the White House. I won't post a picture because I can't bear looking at his smirking mug any longer.

Perhaps President Bush has been paying attention to all the bad press his climate policies have received. Before leaving the G8 this week, The Independent reports Bush "told his fellow leaders: 'Goodbye from the world's biggest polluter.'"

Did you catch that? "Goodbye from the world's biggest polluter."

The report called it a two-fingered salute. I call it a one-finger salute, telling the world, yet again, to fuck off. He has no shame, no conscience, no class.

Deep sigh.

You know what I'm REALLY sick of?

I'm really sick of former aides to George F. W. Bush publishing "tell all" books. Scott McClellan is only the latest in a long string of weasels (my apologies to the cute little animal above) who continues to profit off of the misery that has been visited on the world over the last 7 years.

If he knew it was wrong then, why didn't he say anything then? No, he had to wait until he had a lucrative book deal. I'm sure he'll be wringing his hands all the way to the bank.

It's times like these that I wish I believed in Hellfire and brimstone. I picture the Devil saying, "Sorry Scotty -boy. All of the mea culpas in the world aren't going to save your sorry ass!"

Sheesh.

(By the way, I have decided that henceforth I shall refer to the mean little alcoholic who is not my president as George F.W. Bush. The "F.W." stands for something not very Quakerly.)

Irrelevant?

So, the White House thinks former president, elder statesmen, and Nobel Peace Prize winner Jimmy Carter is "increasingly irrelevant"? I think that Jimmy Carter has more relevancy, more intelligence, more human decency ... in one of his fingernail clippings than any of those shills in the White House. How dare they?
